Shadow Coaching

Sometimes while we are engaged in a more or less demanding performance, we would need to be able to become our own shadow to look at ourselves "from the outside" and be able to give ourselves feedback or simply some positive reinforcement.
In shadow coaching the coach accompanies you on stage and, by observing you, he can help you to get back quickly on the path you had chosen.
How many times did you find yourself saying “If only I could go back to that meeting, that pitch to my client, that speech, that presentation… I would do things differently”?
In shadow coaching, the coach observes and takes notes, to then relate what he saw in relation to the objectives that the coachee wanted to achieve. A coaching session follows in which the coachee can go over the feedback received.
Shadow coaching can be integrated in a "classic" coaching path or be offered as a stand-alone.
In the last case, the standard shadow coaching process is the following:

  • Choice of objectives
  • Observation
  • Debriefing and reflection
  • Coaching session
  • Planning for next steps, following the same dynamic flow

Shadow coaching is a customized intervention. Duration and costs depend on the objectives agreed in advance with the coach.
